Synergy Staging was recently contacted to stage a gorgeous home in Lake Oswego Oregon. It's sweeping views, dramatic ceilings and high end finishes were definite selling points. However, our client understands the value of bringing a home like this to life to so potential buyers fall in love.
Prior to staging, the home was cold, empty, and stark. Once furnished and accessorized with an elegant design it was transformed into a home that buyers could envision living in.
Here are some of the before and after photos of this property:

Note all the living room built-ins. When approaching a space like this we find it important to accentuate the architecture and simplify the cluttered effect that staging the built-in shelving would create in the space. By adjusting the shelving we could control how much staging we wanted to use for a simple less cluttered look.

Beautiful...says it all! Timely post, too...my area has a lot of vacant homes in it. Empty doesn't "sell".
i love it, looks great like the warm colors you used.
Hi David--the architecture is amazing, and it comes to life with your beautiful staging. Warm, welcoming, and very sellable.
Stunning work, David! Love that you removed some shelves - one of my fave techniques too. One very important element that you added was humanizing those large spaces. Some vacant rooms are just so large - and high - that people just feel overwhelmed.
More gorgeous work. Your staging and photos are absolutely top notch. So inviting. Clean but welcoming. Do you take your own photos or work with a professional photographer?
I could sit and stare for hours. These are beautiful examples David!
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.

So beautiful, David! You selected just the right items to stage this home. I love it!
Li ~ You are right that empty doesn't sell, especially with so much sitting on the market staging helps your property stand out from the other.
Tori ~ Thanks. The space needed to be warmed up. Literally actually - the gas had been turned off so there was no heat. Brrrrr.
Janet ~ Accentuating the architecture is one of the goals of staging so all the homes features are evident to potential buyers.
Julia ~ Thanks for your comments. I agree that just putting things in every existing built-in shelf is not the best option if the shelves can arranged in a better fashion.
Chris ~ Appreciate your feedback. We generally take all of our own photos, but we did hire a professional photographer to shoot this property.
Kathy ~ Thank you. Thank you. Hope you had great fun in Vegas. Sorry we missed you this year.
Diana ~ If our clients only knew how much time it took to select just the right things! =)
Hi David ~ What a beautiful home, but buyers wouldn't have been able to connect with it nearly as well if it was vacant. The staging is picture-perfect. Love the little sitting area in the master -- just the right size. (I like to remove shelves from built-ins too as they always seem to have too many.)
Maureen ~ Thanks for your comments. There are almost always too many shelves - and those built-ins just eat up decor so quickly!
Love it as well, very stunning, once again great work
David, I always want to see your work. Beautiful job as usual. Love the rug in the hearth room.
Wendy ~ Thank you!
Leanne ~ The rug was a lucky find at Homegoods. Fit perfectly in this house.
