Some Realtors and Sellers view home staging as a luxury item for high end properties. This couldn't be farther from the truth. Staging a property in this market is proving to be successful time and time again. Home stagers can work with the budgets of most owners and enhance a property so it shows its absolute best. Whether you have a property in the 5 figures or 7 figures, home staging is an investment that will help your home sell quicker and for more money.
This condo unit in the Sunset Meadows neighborhood of Portland that Synergy Staging recently staged is listed at only $139,000.00. Staging this unit helped it stand out from the rest of the competition in the same complex.

David...very in your face, cant deny presentation of why you need a professional stager and what it can do for you. Boy, the pictures say loads of things. I have to support you in what you are doing. In the end, you more than pay for your self and I would question anyone who doesn't consider using your services. In fact, I would use it against them considering the tremendous upside potential for everyone. I say....well done!
Hi David -- You're so right ... good staging can help homes in any price range. This condo looks great (I think I see the issue we talked about and you did a great job with it!!)
David,
Absolutely! Staging helps all price ranges. And it is our job to treat each home differently, according to the price range and demographic. The condo looks wonderful.
Marianne
GREAT photos and perspective! The Sellers should be thrilled 9and so should the Agent!).
David,
I'm so glad to see this post! Every price point can benefit from staging. We had a similar situation a while back. Although our unit had a view of the "parking lot" and our competition had a wonderful view, our staged unit sold first. It was in the lower price point range too.
Good luck and beautiful staging!
Absolutely! You said it David.... Great blog!
Richie ~ Thanks for your comments. It's always good to see Realtors here who are supporters. You are right that in the end the investment in staging is almost always more than covered.
Maureen ~ I'm glad we get to work with all price levels of homes. And yes - this is the condo we discussed. There was no moving the light - so we worked with the space as it was. See you soon!
Marianne ~ It is definitely our job to determine a design and plan that works for each home. That's just one more reason why we can't quote prices over the phone without first seeing a property. Thanks for your feedback!
Andrew ~ Thanks! The Seller and Agent are both thrilled - they are the same person! =)
Patti ~ Glad to hear you had a similar success story. The impact of staging can't be overlooked, especially when there is so much inventory in the marketplace. Thank you!
Nice job David. you made that condo look priceless!
David- You're so right. Houses of all pirce points and size can benefit from staging. The end result doesn't have to look lika a model home. We just need to be able to work with what's available or that we can't change and show its "liveability" .
Crazy about the before and after shots. You really don't have to say a word to sell the service, do you? Your point that staging is good for all price points -- not only is that an excellent point, but work for the lil first time sellers like you do your mansions. It's just the right thing to do.
It is important to stand out - no matter what the price point is! Especially when the property is in a highly competitive environment - if there are several condos on the market in the same complex. Julie
Your staging is wonderful David! Another terrific example of staging works for all price points and locations.
Excellent advice and staging David! I have seen staging success in homes with smaller price points it again and again. . .staging is not just for high end listings.
Lori ~ Thanks!
Tessa ~ It's always fun to see the transformation no matter how many times we do it, isn't it?
Kathy ~ It's generally easier to make a vacant look like a model. Occupieds benefit as much if not more since they have the added challenge of other people's stuff! Every home should be staged before going on the market.
Kristen ~ It is the right thing to do. Glad that you are a supporter. Thanks for stopping by.
Julia ~ You said it!
Debra ~ Thanks for your comments. It absolutely does work at all price points.
Michele ~ Glad you are seeing the same results. Thanks!
So true David. All homes deserve to be Staged.
David, your staged photos are awesome. I stage all sizes of homes even my one bedroom apts.
Janice ~ You're right that all homes deserve to be staged, but not all homes are as fortunate as others!
Beverly ~ Thanks. Great to know that you stage all your homes - I'm sure it pays off time and time again.
Another home run!!
Congratulations. Your home staging is being featured in the group Staging Before and After Pictures.
Kathy
You make a great point David ... staging does set one apart from another.
David, Very good point! It's hard to justify the costs sometimes for a less expensive house, but you've done it. And another post I read said that the first price reduction is usually way more of a cost than the home staging!
Kathy ~ Thank you. We always appreciate your support (and love your great work!)
Liz ~ There is no comparison between a staged and vacant unit.
Brian ~ It is true that the investment in staging is always less than the first price reduction. Thanks for your comments!
I really like the living room/den with the sofa and pics above it. Nice job.
Ellie ~ Thanks for your comments.
David, You make a very good point in your post. And you did a wonderful job of staging and photographing. Excellent!
