This is a follow up to last weeks posting on July 9 Staging a Five Bedroom Foreclosure - Before and After Photos.

The home was staged on Saturday, June 27, then listed and open on Sunday, June 28. Shortly thereafter an offer was made and accepted. The home not only sold, but closes tonight - 20 days later. We de-staged the home today and look forward to working with the investor on their next property.
There is a magic combination of staging and price, prior to the first showing, that results in quick sales and happy clients. Yes - Staging Works!

Great job! We all need to hear these success stories...
David don't you just love adding stats like this to your portfolio. I am particularly interested in hearing from Stagers that are getting in on Foreclosurers. I need that market. Thanks for sharing your success!

And... love the close-up.

Shelley ~ Thank you!
Holly ~ Success stories are always an inspiration.
Ginger ~ It's great to have stats like this. Foreclosures can really be a new market if investors are willing to spend the extra money.
Linda ~ It's nice when the stars align and pricing and staging can work together. Thanks!
Margaret ~ Appreciate your feedback.
Sheila ~ I always look for these type of stories to insprie me as well. Good luck!
Kathy ~ Thank you!
David, it is a real morale booster to read about a success like this! Your talent and expertise had to have been a major factor in this amazing result! I look forward to hearing about many more like this from you in the future.
David -- It's wonderful to hear of more success stories in our area! We've had many quick sales too and I think it proves how much staging has contributed to meeting our clients' goals. Nice shot of the table BTW.
Makes me want to do my staged and sold dance.
I love these stories.
Congratulations David! Do the happy dance now.. you deserve it. What is so great about hearing success stories is that it pumps the rest of us up to go out and do it too. Love, love, that table shot!
Nicely done, David. I love it that you were able to get something going for such an inexpensive house. I'm always being asked if staging is possible for cheap homes: are the margins there? I'd love to hear your thoughts on that ---
Keep those success stories coming David, and the pictures too! That investor is lucky to have you.
Kathy ~ Thanks. We hope for more stories like this one too!
Maureen ~ Congrats on your quick sales. It's all about the staging! =)
Virginia ~ Dance away...
Lori ~ Glad you like that close up. I'll be trying to post more of those soon.
Juliet ~ There are definitely margins on cheaper homes. Of course it does depend on the situation and how much equity the owners have in the property. We always try to work with our clients budgets (within reason) to get the best possible result.
Kate ~ Thank you!
David: Great news on getting that property sold so quickly. Had it been on the market a long time before staging, or do the sellers understand how important staging is and have it staged from the begining?
Todd ~ The Sellers understood that staging from the beginning was the way to go!
I had a little trouble getting to the front door with that colour sideing ... but you won me over with the decor inside. Wonderful job of making it inviting.
Liz ~ The color siding is much more pleasant in person - but I'm glad you liked the inside. Thanks.
