Staging a Five Bedroom Foreclosure - Before and After Photos

Here is the another foreclosure property that Synergy Staging recently staged.  This is a rare five bedroom home with a view in the Gresham area near Portland under $270k.  With a modest budget only the impact rooms were staged, but the empty house was brought to life.

Here are a few pictures of the before and after results.

Working with a modest budget...it looks great David. Certainly a lot more inviting!

David, you and Nik do beautiful work. You have greatly added buyer appeal and visual excitement, even on a limited budget. That is a great price for a view home and I hope there is a quick sale!

What a great price David on this property.  Your staging definitely improved perceived value for potential buyers.  Nice work!

You do what you have to do, or budget permits. Great work!

We don't have so many foreclosures here, in Canada, but I am wondering who would pay the staging fee for these? is it the bank, is it the real estate professional?

Thanks for answering my question!

We staged a home for a company that purchases property that doesn't sell.  I don't really understand the details as my staging partner handles all that  It was a case where someone relocated and, because their home didn't sell over a certain period, the company bought it.  And were stuck with it.

It had been on the market for a year before they considered staging.  It sold in 6 days!

I wish more banks would see the benefits of staging foreclosed properties.

Donna ~ Thanks for your feedback!

Kathy ~ Appreciate it.  We are hoping for a quick sale too.  You can just never tell these days in this market.

Maureen ~ We knew the list price before we saw the house and were very surprised it was such a good deal.  Thanks, as always, for your comments.

Michele ~ Thank you!

Monica ~ The staging in this case was paid by the new owner.  The homes had foreclosed and were purchased by an investor who flipped the properties quickly and brought us in to stage them.

Wendy ~ That is a great testimonial to staging.  You should post some before and after pictures if you haven't already.

Wonderful job.   We need to sing to the world that a full staging to the hilt job isn't necessary all the time.

Simple - basic staging works well too.

Cindy ~ Try to refresh the screen.  Some people have been having the same issue.  Not sure why since they show up on both my MAC and PC.  Hmmm...

Great job David.  I like how you maintained unity from room to room.

Isabel ~ Thanks for noticing - we try to work with an appropriate color palatte that subtlely flows throughout the house.
