This week we received 3 calls for de-stagings. All three homes sold in the past week. Two had been on the market since last year with firm prices. It seems that the market in Oregon has begun to pick up steam a bit. I'll blog more about this with pictures in a few days, but wanted to share some positive news going into the weekend. Looking forward to a good and busy summer season...

David: Things have been brisk for de-stagings for us too. Three properties have sold for us as well, and received a call this morning for another next week.

Congrats David - I totally agree with the fact that the market is picking up - I had to destage last week and another sold last week in only three days! Have a fabulous weekend - I'll be spending my time figuring out where to put all of my inventory!

We've had the same experience - destaged one last week and have another one scheduled for Tuesday. Great that we gave out many bids last week too -- have been contacted by several homesellers direct and many new agents. I think people are starting to also understand that the best house really is selling quicker - price and presentation!

Margaret ~ The best houses usually do sell quicker - and hopefully the banks are starting to ease up a bit so things can keep moving.
I've got 4 houses out (which is a decent amount for my one-woman Staging company). I've also been doing 2-4 consultations for "occupieds" over the past several weeks. Realtors are making the same comments...that things are picking up! Lets hope this continues into the fall. Winter should be interesting!
