It's been a hectic few months and I've been missing the Active Rain community. Hopefully I'll be able to update this blog a little more often in the coming weeks!
Synergy Staging recently staged a 4 Level Occupied home in Lake Oswego, Oregon. This house overlooks the lake and was quite the challenge since each level was connected only by a narrow spiral staircase. Our calves burned for days after this project!
This ultra-contemporary home has a unique floorplan with the master on the top level. We began with a consultation and after the owners removed much of their furnishings and artwork based on our recommendations we staged the entire house.
Here are some pictures of the before and after results.

wow, I love the before and after, what a big difference staging can make in a home
The pictures look great David - hopefully it will sell fast! I love the red in the bedroom and the fireplace looks great! Good luck and keep us posted.
You did a remarkable job in really bringing out the beauty in this house. I feel your pain regarding the stairs, I think we should all charge by the amount of stairs in a home! I'll bet the homeowners are thrilled, and now it's going to appeal to so many more people.
The photos are not visible on my screen. I want to see, too!
What an amazing difference in these rooms. I hope the sellers could see how much better the house showed after your makeover. Great photos and great work!
These are great, David. You brought a sense of maturity to each of the rooms!
Congratulations. Your post is being featured in the group Home Staging Before and After Pictures.
Kathy
Great job David! But I will admit I think I'm to old to have dealt with that many stairs! I would have called in some younger legs!
Can't see the first 2 pictures, but the rest are great. Less is more should be the theme in most rooms. Good job.
Sherry ~ Thanks - this house really needed to be staged as they had so many personal items throughout.
Sheila ~ Appreciate your feedbak. We took the little splash of red they had in her bedroom and used that as the primary color throughout. It really popped with the white walls.
Peg ~ Glad to see you stop by! We've charged extra for outside stairs before, but I think this one was even worse. Oh well - we were very pleased with the results. It's a specialty house, so will take the just right buyer.
Patsy ~ You should be able to see the pics. If all else fails right click on the photo and copy the link and then paste it into your browser and you'll see it. Otherwise you may go here - Synergy Staging Portfolio
Pam ~ Thanks! The owners were thrilled with the results and had no idea the difference a professional stager could bring to the property. Of course they wish they had done it when they first moved in!!!
Kathy ~ Really appreciate the feature. Thank you. Glad you liked the photos.
Donna ~ We actually did call in one of our assistants to help us once we got to the property and realized what was in store! =)
Linda ~ If you still can't see the pics use my tip above to Patsy. Less was definitely more in this house!
David: The before/afters are great! This proves that you can work with the owner's items and make it turn out Fabulous! Kudos to you..
The backs of my legs are hurting, just thinking about climbing 4 sets of stairs. These folks really had some interesting (and distracting) items in their space before it was staged. Glad to see that the animal pelt is gone in your AFTERS!
Wow, they are blessed to have hired you. You made that place sing. By the way, I loved the statue in the living area before photos (using my sarcastic voice!). Great staging!!
Todd ~ Really appreciate your comments. It's always a challenge to work with the owner's belongings, but it can be done! Thank you!
Janis ~ The owners are world travelers and they have items from all their adventures. Of course it is great if you enjoy living in a space filled with personal memories, but when it's time to sell, it's time to declutter and stage. Glad you noticed all their interesting things!
Lori ~ Thanks for your feedback. The house certainly sang a different tune once we had finished staging. We almost kept that statue in there! just kidding
